Janine Aykens is a US artist living and working in Minnesota. She creates abstract and minimalist works with a modern sensibility, seeking a timeless simplicity in exploration of relationships and balance. With a Bachelors degree in Fine Art from Minneapolis College of Art and Design, Janine has spent decades exploring a variety of media and techniques, including painting, drawing, and printmaking. Current work often combines traditional art-making methods with digital manipulation to intertwine the best of both worlds.
